Ostrich in the Room is an absurdist comedy exploring a couple (A & B) stuck in a romantic rut.

When a literal ostrich bursts into their house taking on the personas of a political figure, an infomercial host, and a therapist, the couple must shatter their toxic relationship games to survive.

The couple is continually interrupted by an intrusive ostrich that bursts into their home on three distinct occasions, acting as a political proselytizer, an infomercial, and a therapist.  The play is a dark, comedic look at the "ostrich effect" (avoidance) and asks if the couple and their relationship can survive the changes that come with actually facing their problems.
