 This show tells the tragic story of forbidden, adulterous love between the Cornish knight, Tristan, and the Irish Princess Yseult, who are bound together by a magical love potion they accidentally drink while traveling to Cornwall to see Tristan's uncle, King Mar.  

Their passionate but doomed affair leads to secret meetings, banishment, exile, and betrayal, culminating in their deaths as their deep love for each other becomes the central focus of their tragic fate. ECT’s production of this adaptation blends comedy, live music, grand passion and tender truths in an irresistible night of love June 2-24, 2026 in The Muck Teardrop Driveway.
