APJO is a dynamic 20-piece ensemble recognized with Latin Grammy and Grammy nominations for its innovative fusion of jazz and traditional Peruvian rhythms, including landó, festejo, marinera and zamacueca.

Founded by Peruvian composers and woodwind players Aníbal Seminario and Lorenzo Ferrero, APJO performs original works alongside distinctive arrangements of traditional Peruvian melodies. Their acclaimed album Tradiciones earned two Latin Grammy nominations, a Latin Grammy Award, and a Grammy nomination.
As part of Laguna Beach Live!’s commitment to music education, members of APJO will also spend the day working with students at Laguna Beach High School before taking the stage that evening.
