Raising a child is hard. Raising a child when absolutely no one knows what they're doing? That's comedy.
Christopher Durang's wildly funny and wonderfully off-kilter dark comedy follows Daisy from infancy to adulthood though a bizarre childhood filled with clueless parents, eccentric caretakers, and enough absurd situations to make you wonder how anyone survives growing up.

Packed with Durang's signature wit, Baby with the Bathwater hilariously explores family, identity, and the beautifully messy business of becoming yourself.
First produced in 1983, Baby with the Bathwater has become one of Christopher Durang's most beloved works and a modern classic of American theatre. Equal parts outrageous satire and unexpected heart, it's a comedy that proves even the most dysfunctional families can find hope and plenty to laugh about.
