The Renaissance Theatre Company (community theatre) invites the whole family to enjoy this beloved and classic musical. With music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, "The Sound of Music" tells the story of Maria Rainer, a woman training to be a nun, when she is offered a job as a governess for the seven Von Trapp Children. She teaches the kids to have fun and connect with their father, however, Germany's impending occupation of Austria may threaten to split up their family.

Performing July 25-27 and August 1-3 (Fri, Sat evening shows start at 7pm. Sat, Sun Matinee shows begin at 2pm).
