Bayside kicks off another Supper Club Series with West Coast Jazz, with opening night celebrating the music of legendary lyricist and composer, Sammy Cahn with The Alex Frank Trio, and special guests Jason Fabus and Elle Sophie.

Alex Frank is the musical director and bassist for Jeff Goldblum’s jazz group, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, with whom he has toured extensively with throughout the US and Europe. He’s appeared with the band on numerous TV shows, including The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Alex has also appeared onscreen playing bass live for the film Jersey Boys, directed by Clint Eastwood. He played bass on Michael Bublé’s 2023 Grammy-winning album, Higher, as well as recordings by diverse artists, including American Idol’s Haley Reinhart, jazz trumpeter Benny Benack III, rockabilly/jazz singer Imelda May, blues guitarist Josh Smith & indie rocker Sharon Van Etten. He co-produced and arranged Spencer Day’s highly acclaimed Broadway By Day album, featuring guest artists Dave Koz and Jane Monheit.
