...award-winning violinist Iryna Krechkovsky and renowned pianist Robert Koenig present a program of duo masterpieces anchored by Ottorino Respighi’s lush and dramatic Violin Sonata in B minor.

This rarely heard work—rich in lyricism, virtuosity, and intimacy—is paired with beloved repertoire from the Classical and Romantic eras, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, alongside twentieth- and twenty-first-century voices. Highlights include George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess Suite, blending classical form with jazz influences, and the introspective music of Valentyn Silvestrov. Blending major sonatas with evocative miniatures, the program traces the evolution of the violin–piano duo as a dynamic and expressive musical partnership.
