Newport Beach Concerts on the Green | Newport Beach Civic Center | Jun 27 - Oct 12

The City of Newport Beach Arts Commission presents its annual Summer Concerts Series on the Green featuring an array of performers for your entertainment.

Bring your low-slung beach chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening in a fun atmosphere. Pack a picnic dinner or purchase from on-site gourmet food trucks. No alcohol is permitted.

Unless otherwise noted, all concerts are held on the Newport Beach Civic Center Green* (100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach). Admission and parking are free, on a first come, first served basis.

2025 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

CASSIE B

July 27, 2025, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center

With show-stopping talent and extreme passion, Cassie B stops at nothing to create an extraordinary experience you’ll never forget. Playing both top 40 hits and original music, Cassie B’s music draws from the rich sounds of Motown soul and funk that she grew up listening to. Enjoy a show full of fun, energy, and unforgettable moments!

PACIFIC SYMPHONY

August 17, 2025, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center

Symphony in the Cities unites thousands of people each year for lively concerts in local parks, offering a mix of classical favorites, popular music, and patriotic tunes. Led by a member of Pacific Symphony’s conducting staff, the event invites audiences to join in a spirited sing-along of patriotic songs. To enrich the evening, the Symphony offers a pre-concert Musical Playground filled with interactive, hands-on activities for children.

TIJUANA DOGS

September 14, 2025, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center

The Tijuana Dogs are a high-energy, multi-faceted rock/dance/party band. Their performances and unique style give them an edge over the competition – they’re born entertainers who leave lasting impressions on their audience. Based out of Orange County, California, the Tijuana Dogs have performed with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pat Benatar, Florida Georgia Line, Macklemore, Cheap Trick, KC and The Sunshine Band, Poison, Pitbull, 50 Cent, Flo Rida, and more.

805 SOCIAL CLUB: THE HISTORY OF POP

October 12, 4:00-5:30 p.m., Marina Park

The History of Pop is a non-stop musical journey through the history of pop music, covering seven decades of music from the psychedelic 60s to the new wave 80s to current hits today. Each decade is presented in a short set, introduced with an audio montage of news and pop culture sound clips to evoke the nostalgia from the era.
