When it comes to comedy, headliner Brian Kiley is the coolest and he’s making his first appearance on our Lass Your Aff Off! stage in September.
Brian has appeared several times on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”. He performs regularly at clubs in L.A. Additionally, Brian was a staff writer for Conan O’Brien for 27 years. In that time, he won an Emmy Award for Writing in a Comedy/Variety Series in 2007 and was nominated sixteen times. He was also a staff writer on the final season of “Ellen” and won a Daytime Emmy in 2022.
Having Brian at the The Z is very exciting, but there’s more! We also have the very funny Ben Thompson. Ben has performed at historic stand-up venues like The World-Famous Comedy Store, Ice House Comedy Club, and his Aunt’s Birthday Party— where he is a regular. Outside of California, Ben has performed all over, including Washington, Arizona, New York, England, and Portland — where was a finalist in the 2019 Oregon Comedy Contest.
Also gracing our Lass Your Aff Off! stage in September will be Jennifer Arundale. Jennifer is an actor, comedian, producer and DIY mom. Jennifer performs regularly at The Irvine Improv, The Comedy Store, The Rec Room, Flappers and a variety of Country Clubs and Resorts and was a finalist in the Funniest Housewives competition and a semifinalist in the Jeanne Robertson Humor Contest.
Hosting this cavalcade of comedy is multi-talented, Doug Starks. If you combine the comedic styling of Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy, throw in the smooth singing voice of Johnny Mathis, add the tap-dancing skills of Gene Kelly and the musical talents of Wayne Newton, you’ve just entered the world of Doug Starks.
This is going to be an amazing night of comedy, so please don’t miss it, and don’t attend alone. You’re going to need someone to help you up when you fall on the floor laughing.
